A: The web site migration service available at YASPE is completely free of cost and consists of transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your current provider to your brand new web hosting account with us. We’ll also edit all the configuration settings required for your websites to be completely functional on our advanced cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any type of website. With years of practical experience in the industry, they are experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other widely used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–made app with many custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a plain WordPress–based blog.

A: There are plenty of factors to take into consideration – the total number of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Even so, we do try to accomplish all website migrations within a 48–hour time frame. Smaller–sized websites are migrated much faster – typically in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t need any sensitive info. We’ll require, however, the login information for your current hosting account along with the name of the site that you want to transfer.

A: Before we can start the migration of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share essentially the same details you have provided to your current web host. We also have a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how private information is dealt with.

A: No. Your site will continue to be online during the transfer. Once everything is completed on our end, we will notify you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will need to do is edit your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all conventional Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven hosting platforms, because we do not provide Windows hosting services ourselves.We also don’t support proprietary website creation and administration tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
