If you want to make a web site, you need 2 things - a domain and a website hosting plan for it. The domain registration is the actual web address that you enter in a browser to access a website, while the hosting space is where your website data is going to be. These are two tightly connected, yet independent services, even though many people believe that registering the domain is enough. Similar to the disk space and the monthly traffic features that a given hosting plan has, there are a certain number of registered domains that you can add as hosted which means that you can have the web content for them in some account even if the domains are actually registered using a different provider. In technical terms, it does not matter whether a domain name is registered and hosted using the same company or is registered with one company and pointed to a different one - in either case your websites will function exactly the same way.

: Hosted Domains in Web Hosting

The web hosting solutions we provide permit you to host a different number of domains. In this way, you can pick what plan to buy and how much to spend based on your needs. If you choose to host more domain names in the future than the amount the current package allows you to, you can quickly upgrade the whole package or even keep the same one and just add more slots for hosted domains. If you choose to use the registration services of another company, you'll be able to see the name servers that you have to set for your domains so as to point them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains section of the CP on our end. If you like to have everything in 1 spot, however, there's no limit on the number of domains you can register/transfer as part of your account no matter the hosting plan you have selected. You'll be able to decide if you will host any of them or you'll forward them to other existing domains.; Hosted Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

When you buy a semi-dedicated server plan through our company, you'll be able to host as many domains as you want no matter whether you register them here or you already own them through a different company. We've decided not to restrict this feature because the semi-dedicated plans are very powerful and the load they can handle is quite high, therefore it wouldn't make sense to be able to host a fixed number of domains. The accounts are handled via the Hepsia CP, which will give you full control over all of your hosted domains. You can add a new domain with a few mouse clicks and everything is done quickly and intuitively, in contrast to alternative Control Panels where you may even have to switch between different accounts to control a couple of domains. In case you register a new domain name on our end, it will be hosted automatically in your semi-dedicated account.; Hosted Domains in VPS Servers

Our VPS servers can be employed to host unrestricted amount of domain names irrespective of the hosting CP that you select during the ordering process. You'll have an abundance of system resources at your disposal, so you can choose how many domains will use them. If you get the VPS with DirectAdmin or cPanel, you can create a separate hosting account for each domain and we don't have a set limit for the number of accounts that you can create. If you choose our Hepsia CP, all domain addresses are going to be controlled through one account i.e. there will not be a main domain and add-on domains like with the other Control Panels. The second option might be more convenient if you don't need to give access to a specific domain to other people and you do not want to switch between accounts to manage the domain addresses that you host on the server. Additionally, any new domain name you register through Hepsia shall be hosted automatically on the server without you having to do anything manually afterward.
